Tirovi is made by Hazel Hive AI Private Limited. This page explains what the app stores, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

The short version

Tirovi holds your affirmation, your "why", and your journal. That is private writing, and we treat it that way. Your entries are encrypted and stored securely. We never sell your data, to anyone, ever. No one on our team looks at what you've written unless you ask us to, for something like a support request. You're always in control - export anything, or delete a single entry or your whole account, whenever you want.

What we store

Your account. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and, if your provider offers it, a profile picture. We use these to keep your account yours and to show your name in the app. We do not receive your password.

What you write. Your affirmation (the "I am" sentence you write about yourself), your "why", your journal entries (including the morning and evening rituals and daily reflections), the note you can leave when you change your affirmation, and the earlier versions of your affirmation. All of it is yours; we keep it so it is there when you come back, on any device you sign in on.

What we do not keep. Release Prompt - the place you write something down to let it go - keeps nothing. What you type there is never saved, never sent anywhere, and is gone when the screen closes. This is a promise, not a setting.

Your preferences. Reminder times, whether the app lock is on, your time zone (so reminders arrive at the right hour), the path and tone you have chosen.

Your subscription. Whether you are on a trial, subscribed, on Lifetime, or paused, and which plan. Payment itself is handled by Google Play or the App Store; we never see your card or bank details.

Where it lives

Your data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, in their Mumbai (India) region. It is encrypted at rest, and every request is checked so that only your account can read your rows.

What you write also lives on your own phone, so the app works offline. If you turn on the app lock, opening Tirovi needs your fingerprint, face or device passcode.

What we measure

We record that things happen, never what you wrote. For example: that a journal entry was saved, that a ritual was completed, that a paywall was seen. These events go to PostHog, an analytics service, and are tied to your account id so we can understand how the app is used over time. Crash reports go to Sentry so we can fix problems; before anything is sent, your writing is stripped out.

We do not show ads, and we do not use advertising trackers.

Who else sees anything

Only the services that make the app work, and only what each needs:

None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share your writing with anyone.

Reminders and the widget

Reminders are scheduled on your phone; nothing is sent from a server to make them appear. The home-screen widget shows only Tirovi's own words - never your own affirmation or an entry - and there is no setting that changes that.

What you can do

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your writing, your preferences and your profile are deleted with it. Purchase and subscription records are kept for a limited period as required for accounting, tax and fraud prevention, then removed. Usage events and crash reports already recorded contain none of your writing and expire on those services' normal schedules. Backups held by our hosting provider expire on their normal schedule, after which nothing remains.

Children

Tirovi is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly hold data about anyone under 18. If you believe we do, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights under Indian law

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Hazel Hive AI Private Limited is the data fiduciary for Tirovi. You have the right to know what we hold, to correct it, to have it erased, to withdraw consent, and to raise a grievance. Everything on this page is the mechanism for those rights, and the address below is the one to write to. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change applies. Small clarifications will simply update the date at the top.
